When U.S. Bank Stadium hosts its first Super Bowl in a few short weeks, fans attending the game and those watching around the world will be struck by the stadium’s bold and modern shape, yet unaware of its underlying technology and advanced building material science. Pulling back the curtain, there’s a great deal of design thinking that informs the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind the stadium’s shape and unique materials.
